Disclosures
The things worth knowing before you point real money at any of this.
Who we are not
Xpaid is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated in partnership with Pons, Robinhood Markets, or X Corp. Those names appear here only to describe what the software works with.
Xpaid does not hold your money
Fees move from Pons’ fee escrow into a splitter contract and stay there until a recipient withdraws them. There is no pooled treasury, no omnibus account, and no key that lets anyone running this move funds belonging to someone else.
The flip side is that nobody can help you either. There is no support desk that can reverse a transaction, recover a lost key, or redirect a payment.
The split cannot be changed
Shares are fixed when a splitter is deployed. There is no owner, no admin function and no upgrade path. If an address is wrong, that share is permanently stuck. Check the addresses before you deploy, not after.
No dollars, no conversion
Payouts are ETH. Xpaid does not convert to fiat, does not run an off-ramp, and does not transmit money for anyone. Doing so would be money transmission and would require licences this project does not hold.
Risk
- Smart contract risk. The contracts are unaudited. Read them before you rely on them.
- Upstream risk. Fee rates, the creator split and who a launch pays belong to Pons. Pons’ owner can redirect any launch’s creator fees after a three-day notice; fees already credited to a splitter are unaffected, fees not yet swept are not. If Pons changes, what reaches a splitter changes.
- Market risk. Fees come from trading volume. Most tokens generate almost none.
- Tax. Money you receive may be taxable where you live. Nothing here is tax or legal advice.
